Believe and Achieve

The Power of Your Mind

Success is Only a Thought Away

Have you ever seen the movie Matilda? My assumption is yes (who hasn't seen Matilda) but for those of you who haven't or it's been a while the main character, an 8 year old girl, uses the power of her mind to control things in her life. Her mental energy allows her to slam a door, make pancakes, write on chalkboards, along with a number of other things. So no our minds may not be able to do this magic but they are still exceptionally powerful if use them properly. If we believe it we can achieve it- this is what I mean by using the power of your mind. I want to use a few quotes and visuals to help support this thought and hopefully something will resonate with you if my words alone have not-

"You don't need to be helped any longer. You've always had the power."

"Nothing splendid has ever been achieved except by those who dared believe that something inside of them was superior to circumstance."

-Bruce Barton

"I think I can, I think I can..."

"Aerodynamically the bumblebee shouldn't be able to fly, but the bumblebee doesn't know that so it goes on flying anyway."

- Mary Kay Ash

Sometimes our dreams may be far fetched but you can still strive to attain them-

Ok, yes I understand and admit that it's not easy but that can't prevent of us from trying to believe and embracing that no matter how hard it is it can be done. If we believe it we can achieve it. Don't give up on yourself doing so only allows others to give up on you. Never underestimate the power of your mind! We may not have Matilda's powers but our minds are still pretty remarkable.

Remember to always believe in you,

Something to Believe In, Aqualung
